FIFTH ANNUAL WESTERN SPRINGS 2011

LAX TOWER TOURNEY

On behalf of the Western Springs Lacrosse Board and the Western Springs Rec Department, I wanted to thank you and your teams for playing in the 5th Annual Tower Tournament.  As I mentioned before, we had 37 teams entered this year which represented over 700 kids playing lacrosse on June 4th. 

With the bad thunderstorm rolling through at 3:28pm, it was a challenge but we were able to successfully restart the tournament at 5:00pm.  We were able to complete all games with one of the last games – the 3/4 championship game – finishing up at 8:15pm.  We appreciated everybody’s patience, understanding, and cooperation as we worked to get the tournament back up and running. 

We hope your players, coaches, and fans had a great lacrosse experience.  And we look forward to seeing you next year at our 6th Annual Tower Tournament.

Player medals awarded to players on first and second place in each division. 

First tournament games will start at 9:00am.
