WESTERN SPRINGS FALL TRAVEL LACROSSE

Field Location – Lyons Township High School Corral Field

DIRECTIONS TO LTHS SOUTH CAMPUS:

FROM THE EAST: Take Ogden Ave. west to Gilbert Ave./Willow Springs Road. Turn left on Gilbert Ave./Willow Springs Road and continue south to 50th Street Entrance is on Willow Springs Road at 50^th Street by the Corral Building. There are several fields at LT. We will be on the field that is the furthest south of the high school building.
FROM THE WEST: Take I-88 to the Tri-State (294) South to Ogden East. Take Ogden east to Gilbert Ave./Willow Springs Road. Turn right on Gilbert Ave./Willow Springs Road and continue south to 50th Street. Entrance is on Willow Springs Road at 50^th Street by the Corral Building. There are several fields at LT. We will be on the field that is the furthest south of the high school building.

Advanced practice and preparation for local tournaments.

· To make sure there is a safe playing environment, there will be no "playing up" of younger players in the older age group and no additional players brought in to supplement a team in a scrimmage or tournament.

Practices for the Fall session will be at LTHS South Campus Field on Sundays from 5:30 to 7pm.Sept 11^th thru Oct 16^th tournaments on Oct 22^nd & 23^rd and Oct 30^th
Practices for the Winter session will be at Darien Sportsplex on Saturdays (5/6^th 2 – 3:30pm and 7/8^th from 3:30 – 5pm) Nov 5^th, Nov 12^th , Nov 19^th, Dec 3^th, Dec 10^th, Dec 17^th Jan 7^th and Jan 14^th

· Tournament fees are not included.

*Tentative tournaments for fall session are:

1. Fall Lax Shootout (10/22 & 10/23)

2. Field of Screams (10/30) **

*Tentative tournaments for winter session are:

1 Buffalo Brawl 11/27

2. Big Freeze 12/30

* Every effort will be made to attend these tournaments, but as with any tournament they are subject to cancellation by the vendor at any time. If that happens we will attempt to find an alternate tournament or use cancelled tournament date as a practice. .

** This tournament may not include 5/6^th grade. If it does not, a practice will be held instead.

Payments are due on the dates listed below. Due to the competitive nature of the team any participant that fails to pay their fees by 9/15/2011 will forfeit their roster position to the next player in line.
