Western Springs Lacrosse Day at Dick's Sporting Goods will take place on March 4th 2012 at the Oak Brook store. This entitles everyone with the coupon on the link below and additional 15% discount for a total savings of 25% with coupon and anything else in store 15%.

Introduction to Lacrosse signup (Boys grades 1^st – 2nd) starts Sunday, Jan 22nd, 2012 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm or Tuesday, Jan 24th 2012 from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm.

Registrations can be mailed or returned to Western Springs Recreation Center, 1500 Walker Street, Western Springs, Il. 60558 or faxed to 708-246-1309. Registration is open to all including Western Springs, Hinsdale, Lagrange, Lagrange Park, Countryside, Riverside, Brookfield, North Riverside, Clarendon Hills, Burr Ridge, Oak Brook, Indian Head Park, Willowbrook, Downers Grove and all other surrounding areas.

Introduction to lacrosse is a great way to learn the fundamentals of lacrosse. Lacrosse continues to be a growing sport and the recreation department continues to provide children that are interested in lacrosse a place to call home for both inexperienced and experienced players. The focus of this program is to teach sound lacrosse fundamentals and practice good sportsmanship in an environment where everybody plays. 

Practices/Scrimmage Games

All instruction on Sundays, April 15^th – June 9th from 1pm – 2:30pm @ Spring Rock Park. (no class May 27th Memorial Day weekend)  Jersey distribution first day of practice.

Volunteer Commitment Info

This is a parent/volunteer run program that depends heavily upon your involvement. All families are expected to participate as volunteers. There are many volunteer opportunities that are available and sign-up is available on Registration Days. Click for a list of volunteer positions. Volunteer buyout is $25.00. 

Volunteer Coaches 

Volunteer Coaches are needed!! No experience necessary.  Newcomers encouraged!!!  Don’t be intimidated—WILL TRAIN!!!  Coaching Clinic provided.  Get information and sign up at registration or contact Pam Florczak at pflorczak@wsprings.com , call 708-246-6725. if interested in being a coach
