Please make sure your kids have water bottles and all of their equipment. If you have a blue & white pinnie, please bring on Sundays.WEATHER CONCERNS The Western Springs Recreation Department is issuing this weather policy for the safety of your children. To insure that your children are safe, it is important that you are aware of the weather conditions during the time your child is involved playing lacrosse. If weather conditions are questionable before practice or games begin, please call our weather hotline at 708-246-9070 ext 419 or visit www.westernspringslacrosse.org or check your emails for info on rain location availability. We will make every effort to use the LT field house as a rain location, but it is not always available. Typically we would only be indoors if there is lightening. If you have already dropped off your child and weather conditions have changed and there is lightning, thunder or a tornado watch, please return to practice/game field immediately to pick up your child. DIRECTIONS to LYONS TOWNSHIP SOUTH CAMPUS Field location – Lyons Township South Campus Outdoor Field. Entrance is on Willow Springs Road at 50th Street by the Corral Building. There are several fields at LT. We will be on the field that is the furthest south of the high school building. Rain Location - Lyons Township South Campus Indoor Field House Entrance is on Willow Springs Rd on 48th Street past the Walgreens. *All information above subject to change REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Lacrosse stick, mouth-piece, lacrosse or hockey helmet with face guard; shoulder pads, elbow pads, lacrosse gloves, cup, and soccer/football cleats.
